Modular Unit Case Study – St. Mochta’s National School, Louth Village, Co. Louth

Located in the quaint surroundings of Louth Village, these two separate modular classrooms were supplied in response to the changing model around the requirement for special educational needs (SEN) facilities reflected across the country.

PortAMod’s brief was to supply and install 2nr. SEN Buildings with classrooms and ancillary rooms at St. Mochta’s National School, Louth Village. Both of these buildings comprised of a 49m2 classroom with wet area including sink and countertop; an entrance lobby and 2nr toilets, one of which was disabled and the other ambulant disabled, a store, staff room, multi-sensory room and a ‘safe’ room.

St. Mochta’s National School was delivered with a 4-week leadtime with 10 days spent
onsite for install and commissioning.
